Cadillac has announced that the Celestiq will be hand built at GM’s Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. GM plans to invest over $81 million to get the center ready to build the Celestiq. The Celestiq is expected to arrive for the 2025 model year and will be based on GM’s Ultium platform.

The Celestiq will also arrive with some new features like a smart glass roof with four quadrants so each occupant can set their own level of roof transparency. At the front of the interior there will also be a full-width LED display that stretches from pillar-to-pillar.
