General Motors is reportedly working on two new electric cars that will be introduced within the next 18 months. The two new fully-electric cars are part of GM’s plan to introduce 20 new electric vehicles by 2023.
GM hasn’t announced what the two new electric cars will be, but it’s expected that one of them will be a Bolt-based Buick electric car.
“General Motors believes in an all-electric future,” stated Mark Reuss, General Motors executive vice president of Product Development, Purchasing, and Supply Chain. “Although that future won’t happen overnight, GM is committed to driving increased usage and acceptance of electric vehicles through no-compromise solutions that meet our customers’ needs.”
In addition to the new electric cars, GM is also working on new fuel cell technology, which is part of its partnership with Honda.
