Lucid is putting a serious performance spin on its Gravity SUV with the introduction of the 2027 Lucid Gravity GT-S. The new model is an offshoot of the ultra-high-performance Lucid Air Sapphire and brings with it more power, some distinctive styling and better dynamics, all while retaining the three-row roominess that has made the Gravity such a versatile luxury EV.

At 1,070 horsepower, the figure is hard to ignore. Lucid touts the Gravity GT-S as America’s most powerful three-row SUV by virtue of that output. It is enough to put this electric vehicle in supercar company, capable of a 0-60 mph run in 3.1 seconds.
The intent with the GT-S was to offer the sort of dynamic performance one would want from a top-tier EV without any compromise on the practical side. There is still ample cargo room and seating for seven adults, underpinned by Lucid’s software-defined platform.
For handling the extra muscle, the Gravity GT-S is equipped as standard with the Dynamic Handling Package. This includes an adaptive three-chamber air suspension to keep the SUV planted at speed and independent rear-wheel steering. According to Lucid, it provides a more responsive character and better agility while the ride remains as smooth as a luxury SUV should be.

Visually, the GT-S is set apart from the rest of the Gravity range. You will find blue exterior accents and painted blue brake calipers on the outside, a nod to the brand’s Sapphire models.

Step inside and the Mojave PurLuxe Premium interior is accented with blue stitching and piping in the first and second rows. The color scheme is carried through to the seatbelts, the steering wheel, door and front center armrests. Even the headrests feature an embossed Lucid Bear logo and there is a blue marker on the wheel. For those who prefer it, a Tahoe leather interior is available for an additional $1,300.
Lucid has chosen Monterey Car Week as the occasion to put the Gravity GT-S on display. It will be in the Concours Village at Pebble Beach next to the Lucid Air Sapphire.
Available only in the U.S., the 2027 Lucid Gravity GT-S starts at $127,750.
