Porsche is adding to their electric SUV selection with the 2026 Cayenne Coupe Electric, a battery-powered option to join the gasoline and plug-in hybrid Cayenne Coupes already available. The Cayenne Coupe has always focused more on looking good and being fast, rather than being hugely practical, and the electric version takes this idea even further, in many ways going much more to the extreme.

The Cayenne Coupe Electric’s shape is very similar to what’s made the body style so popular, with its sloping roof and broad body, very obviously taken from the Porsche 911’s “flyline”. The changes to the design are subtle but work well, including a roofline that’s a little lower than on a regular Cayenne SUV and a smoother back end with a window that fits neatly in and a spoiler that’s part of the body. It’s still undeniably a Cayenne, but the coupe shape gives it a more powerful look, and buyers have liked it: around 40% of Cayennes sold in the US last year were coupes, which is why Porsche is releasing an electric version.

And performance is where this car gets really exciting.

Even the basic Cayenne Coupe Electric has 435 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. Moving to the Cayenne S Coupe Electric gets you 657 hp, but the highest of the range, the Cayenne Turbo Coupe Electric, produces an incredible 1,139 hp with launch control.

Porsche says the Turbo version goes from 0-60 mph in only 2.4 seconds.

All versions of the Cayenne Coupe Electric use Porsche’s newest 800-volt system, which is designed to both improve how the car performs and how quickly it can be charged. This system is paired with air suspension that adjusts to the road, and features like steering on the rear wheels and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus are available.

The coupe body also improves how the air flows around the car. Its drag coefficient of 0.23 is a little better than the standard Cayenne Electric SUV. Hidden systems for aerodynamics – cooling vents and a rear spoiler that changes shape – constantly work to balance how efficiently the car uses energy, how well it cools down, and how much the car is pushed to the road.

Despite looking more aggressive, the Cayenne Coupe Electric hasn’t given up being useful for everyday driving.

The back seats can be set up for two people, or two plus one, and they fold down flat to give more space for luggage. There’s also a small storage area under the hood (front trunk), and the SUV can tow up to 7,716 pounds.

You can also get an optional off-road pack, which makes it easier to go over bumps and gives a little more flexibility for those who want to do more than just drive on roads.

You can order the 2026 Porsche Cayenne Coupe Electric now, and they should be with customers by late summer 2026.

It starts at $113,800 for the base model, goes up to $131,200 for the Cayenne S Coupe Electric, and reaches $168,000 for the Turbo Coupe Electric, plus the $2,350 destination charge.
