The Jaguar F-Type is on its way out with the 2024 model year being the last year for Jaguar’s coupe and convertible. Jaguar has announced that it is celebrating both the final year of the F-Type and 75 years of Jaguar sports cars with the debut of the F-Type 75 and F-Type R 75 special editions.
The 75 Edition is offered on the P450 AWD and P575 AWD models with each version being powered by supercharged V8 with either 450 or 575 horsepower. The special edition gets unique badges on the front fenders, 75 badging on the interior, slimline seats, suede cloth headliner, stainless-steel tread plates and gloss black wheels.
The performance of both models has also bee improved with “enhanced by rear knuckles” and larger wheel bearings. The R 75 also gets revised upper ball joints and both models get a rear electronic active differential.
“For 75 years Jaguar has been renowned for producing extraordinary sports cars that deliver performance, agility and maximum driver reward,” said Matthew Beaven, Jaguar Land Rover Chief Designer, Exteriors. “The F-Type special editions hold true to these principles, adding unique interior and exterior design details to celebrate this lineage before Jaguar becomes an all-electric brand from 2025.”
