Cadillac has decided to finally add a sportier version of the popular Escalade SUV to its lineup with the debut of the Escalade V.
The 2023 Cadillac Escalade V is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8, that’s borrowed from the CT5-V Blackwing. The V8 generates a nice 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. It’s mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and a full-time all-wheel drive system.
Other performance upgrades include Brembo six-piston front brake calipers with 16.1-inch rotors. It also gets a configurable Magneride suspension. It rides on unique 22-inch wheels with all-season tires.
On the outside the trim has been blacked out, there’s a three-mode exhaust system with four big exhaust tips. Inside there’s zebra wood trim with semi-aniline leather seats. There’s also a AKG audio system with 36 speakers.
The 2023 Cadillac Escalade V starts at $149,990.
