Ford has is bringing back the Mustang GT California Special for the 2019 Mustang, which is inspired by the original version that debuted in 1968. In addition to its unique exterior, the 2019 Ford Mustang GT California Special, also adds rev-matching on 5.0-liter manual-equipped models, a B&O Play premium audio system for and three new vintage-inspired colors.
On the outside the 2019 Ford Mustang GT California Special gets a blacked-out grille and a splitter. It also adds a fading stripe that traces from the 5.0 side badge to the rear fender scoop, an Ebony Black and Race Red script California Special badge on the trunk lid and unique five-spoke painted machined wheels. Inside there are black Miko suede-trimmed seats with embossed GT/CS insignia, embroidered GT/CS floor mats. A California Special script badge as also been added to the dash panel.
To make it look even more retro, buyers can choose three new colors: Velocity Blue, Need for Green and the Bullitt model’s exclusive Dark Highland Green.
