A recent email sent out to dealers revealed some of Honda’s plans for the 2012 model year. First Honda plans on offering a 4-cylinder in the Accord Crosstour. The four-cylinder will likely only be offered in the lower models and with front-wheel-drive. It’s expected to be released sometime in the summer.
We already know that Honda is releasing an all-new Civic for the 2012 model year. We’re going to get a preview of the new Civic at the Detroit Auto Show next week. The email states that the 2012 Civic will hit dealers by late April.
The CR-V is also going to be all-new for 2012 and it’s getting an all-new 4-cylinder engine that is expected to be larger than the current 2.4L.
