It looks like the Toyota Land Cruiser is getting close to coming back to the U.S. Toyota recently confirmed the Land Cruiser’s return with photos of its iconic badges, but now we have our first look at the new SUV.
As was reported earlier, it’s expected that the new Land Cruiser will have a lot in common with the 2024 Lexus GX. The teaser photos confirm that with the Land Cruiser having a similar profile to the new GX. Look closely and you’ll see a similar window line at the rear door the same boxy shape.
We don’t have any other details yet, but the Land Cruiser will likely share the same powertrains as the GX, which means the standard version will be powered by a 3.4-liter V6 with 349 horsepower and a hybrid could also be offered later. Expect a TRD Pro version as well, with some of the same features as the more rugged GX Overtrail.
