Toyota recently launched the bZ4X electric SUV, but now it’s showing the world what another member of the electric bZ family could look like with the debut of the bZ Compact SUV concept.

“We’ve only just begun to scratch the surface of the Beyond Zero moniker,” said Toyota group vice president and general manager David Christ.

The bZ Compact SUV looks like it’s about the same size as the Toyota CH-R, but it’s far more attractive than the funky SUV. Inside it features a minimalistic interior with two digital screens. An in-car personal agent named ”Yui” connects the driver and passengers through the use of audio and visual lighting cues. It responds to requests or commands from front or rear passengers.

“With an aerodynamic design coupled with intuitive tech features never before seen in a Toyota model, the bZ Concept showcases another possible vision of the very near future with our battery electric vehicles,” continued David Christ.
