Scion has confirmed that the xB will end its run by the end of the year.
When Scion launched in the early 2000’s, the xB was the most popular model in its lineup with its quirky boxy styling. By 2008 it turned into a more bloated looking box, which lost most of the quirkiness that made the original fun. Now seven years later, Scion has confirmed that the xB will end its run by the end of the year.
Doug Murtha, Scion Vice President confirmed the news to Wards Auto. Scion has no plans for a direct replacement for the xB, but this fall the 2016 iM hatchback and iA sedan will join the lineup. The small iQ is also expected to disappear soon as well.
