Kia has unveiled the refreshed 2024 Seltos at the Los Angeles Auto Show. For the new model year, the Seltos not only gets some styling updates, but also more power and updated tech features.
On the outside the 2024 Seltos gets a refreshed face with a larger tiger nose grille, restyled bumper and new fog lights. At the rear the Sletos gets new lighting. The exterior is topped off with new wheel designs and three new exterior colors: Pluton Blue, Fusion Black and Valais Green. The 2024 Seltos also gets the new X-Line trim, which adds a unique grille with a gunmetal finish, unique 18-inch wheels, a black bridge-type roof rack, gloss black door garnish and X-Line badges.
Inside the Seltos is available with a new panoramic screen display that combines the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and the 10.25-inch center display. There’s some new dash trim and also a 4.2-inch instrument cluster with digital gauge upgrade. The Seltos is also available with a Digital Key that lets you unlock, lock and drive the Seltos using your iPhone, Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy device.
Under the hood there are two engines to choose from. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 146 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to a CVT. The more powerful engine is the revised 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an extra 20 horsepower to give it a total of 195 horsepower. The turbo is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional.
The 2024 Kia Seltos is slated to arrive in the first half of 2023.
