Kia has put a price tag on the all-new 2027 Kia EV3, the electric SUV that is set to be the most accessible in the brand’s portfolio. With a starting point of $31,385, the EV3 brings to market a vehicle with the kind of range and fast-charging capability one would expect from Kia’s larger EVs, but at a more inviting cost.

Positioned under the likes of the EV6 and EV9 in an ever-expanding lineup, the EV3 will come in seven trims. That includes front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options as well as a new GT for those with a performance bent.

EPA estimates put the driving range of the 2027 Kia EV3 at as much as 321 miles, with the Wind FWD and Land FWD being the leaders in that regard. And because every EV3 is fitted with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port as standard equipment, there is no need for an adapter to tap into Tesla Superchargers. On a 350-kW DC fast charger, a 10 to 80 percent top-up takes some 31 minutes.

The trim hierarchy runs from the Light FWD up through the Wind, Land and GT-Line. For added power, dual-motor AWD is on the table, and the EV3 GT AWD is the pinnacle of the range with its 288 horsepower.

There is also a new Nightfall Package for buyers who want to put some style on the EV3; it brings dark gray to the interior and black accents to the exterior, including bridge-style roof rails and distinctive 19-inch wheels.

Step inside and one will find nearly 30 inches of digital display space. Available tech covers the Blind-Spot and 360-degree Surround View Monitors. Kia has not overlooked the demands of colder weather either: a battery heater is standard, and AWD variants can be had with a heat pump. Heated seats and a steering wheel are also in the mix.
