With a new batch of hot hatchbacks on the horizon thanks to the upcoming Focus RS and Honda Civic Type R, there have been questions about when we’ll see a new Mazdaspeed 3. It’s now being reported that Mazda will reveal a concept version of the next Mazdaspeed 3 at the Frankfurt Motor Show later this year.
If the report is accurate, the Mazdaspeed 3 will be powered by a turbocharged 2.5L engine with around 295 horsepower. All that power is expected to be put to the ground via all four wheels.

The same report also claims that Mazda is going to reveal an all-new CX-9 SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, which will be followed by a new CX-7. The new CX-7 will have room for up to seven passengers and will fill the gap between the CX-5 and the new CX-9.
