2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata is 25 percent more fuel efficient

Mazda has revealed the fuel economy specs for the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata, which is now 25 percent more fuel efficient than the outgoing model.

Mazda has revealed the fuel economy specs for the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata, which is now 25 percent more fuel efficient than the outgoing model. It’s now rated at 27 mpg city and 34 mpg highway with the six-speed manual and 27 mpg city and 36 mpg highway with the six-speed automatic transmission.
How did Mazda make it more fuel efficient? Well for starters, the new MX-5 Miata is 150 pounds lighter and its new 155-hp 2.0L four-cylinder engine is more fuel efficient.
