In March, Mercedes-Benz unveiled the 2022 Mercedes-AMG G 63 “Edition 55” which celebrates the 55th anniversary of AMG. Now it’s expanding the range of “Edition 55” models with debut of the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 “Edition 55.”
The Edition 55 comes in Cosmos Black Metallic and it stands out thanks to the AMG Aerodynamics package that includes a front apron with a larger front splitter, an AMG rear wing, deflector elements on the simulated side air outlets of the rear apron, and the diffuser blade, which are all painted in high-gloss black.
It also gets the AMG Night package and AMG Night package II. The exterior also gets black chrome tailpipes, high-gloss black trim and a unique grille.
Inside the AMG Performance seats are wrapped in two-tone Classic Red/Black Nappa Leather. The AMG Performance steering wheel is finished in microfiber with “Edition 55” badge and black 12 o’clock marking celebrates the 55th birthday of the brand. AMG door sill panels with red illuminated AMG lettering and black AMG floor mats made are also included.
Now if you want one, you might be out of luck, since Mercedes only plans to build 55 units.
