This year AMG is celebrating its 55th anniversary and to coincide with the celebration, Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the 2022 Mercedes-AMG G 63 “Edition 55.”
The 2022 Mercedes-AMG G 63 “Edition 55” comes in Obsidian Black metallic with matte grey 22-inch AMG forged wheels with a high-sheen rim flange, plus the AMG Night Package and AMG Night Package II. It event gets a unique fuel filler cap in silver.
Inside there’s a contrasting black and red design with stainless steel door sill trims with red illuminated AMG lettering, black AMG floor mats with red contrasting stitching and “Edition 55” lettering woven in red. The AMG steering wheel sports the “AMG” and “55” badges. Lastly the seats are wrapped in two-tone Nappa Leather in Classic Red/Black and the interior is topped off with AMG matte carbon trim elements.
The G 63 “Edition 55” also comes with a customized AMG Indoor Car Cover.
The Mercedes-AMG G 63 “Edition 55” will arrive later this year, but Mercedes only plans to build 55 units for the U.S.
