The gas-powered Cadillac Escalade is offered with a long-wheelbase version and now Cadillac has confirmed the same for the fully electric Escalade iQL.

2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ

The news was confirmed by Car and Driver, but a Cadillac spokesperson only stated that it’s coming, but didn’t give a released date. The standard Escalade iQ is slated to arrive this summer, so it’s expected that the long-wheelbase iQL will arrive sometime after that.

The Escalade IQ already 224.3 inches long, 76.1 inches tall, and 94.1 inches wide, with a 136.2-inch wheelbase. The wheelbase is already over a foot longer than the Escalade and only three inches shy of the Escalade ESV. The Escalade iQ is powered by a dual motor powertrain that generates 750 hp and 785 pound-feet of torque, which will likely be the same powertrain for the iQL. The 2025 Escalade iQ is expected to have a driving range up 450 miles.
