The 2018 Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque are getting Jaguar Land Rover’s four-cylinder Ingenium engines. Both models will be available with a choice of two 2.0L Ingenium gas engines, one with 237 hp and the other with 286 hp.

2018 Range Rover Evoque

The base 2.0L engine generates 237 hp and 251 lb-ft. of torque and is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. The more powerful 2.0L engine generates 286 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of torque, giving the Evoque a 0-60 mph time of 6.3 seconds and the Discovery Sport a 0-60 time of 6.7 seconds.

The 2018 Range Rover Evoque five-door will be offered in five trim levels, with the more powerful 286 horsepower engine being an option on the HSE Dynamic and Autobiography trim levels. The 2018 Evoque Convertible will only be offered in two trim levels and only with the less powerful 237 horsepower engine.

The higher-powered Evoque five-door models will receive the Dynamic exterior pack, comprising enlarged front and rear bumpers, Gloss Black finishes for the grille, vents and 20-inch five split-spoke alloy wheels.

Land Rover Discovery Sport

The 2018 Discovery Sport will be available in three trim levels, with the more powerful engine being available on the HSE and HSE Luxury trim levels. The more powerful engine also adds a unique front bumper with larger air intakes, a gloss black front grille and side vents, chrome tailpipe finisher, red “Sport” badge, and 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels.

Pricing for the 2018 Land Rover Discovery starts at $38,790, while the 2018 Range Rover Evoque starts at $42,795 with the destination fees.
