Infiniti has unveiled the new Infiniti QX80 Monograph SUV concept, which is going to debut next week at the New York Auto Show. The QX80 Monograph is a design preview of what the next-generation QX80 SUV is going to look like.
Designed at Infiniti’s design studio in Atsugi, Japan, Infiniti says that the QX80 Monograph is the “ultimate expression of futuristic luxury SUV design.” The concept features the brand’s latest design language, while it also incorporates a mix of geometric and organic shapes to give it a commanding, but also elegant and sophisticated presence.
From the front the Infiniti’s double-arch grille is both taller and wider on the QX80 Monograph to give it a more powerful face, while as you move back the crescent-cut D-pillar has been reshaped.

“The QX80 Monograph represents a detailed study into our expertise of exterior design,” said Roland Krueger, President of Infiniti Motor Company Ltd. “QX80 Monograph shows our concept of luxury and style on the road, and is an exploration into how we could enhance our future Infiniti offering in the luxury SUV segment.”
The next-generation QX80 will continue to share its platform with the Nissan Armada. Infiniti hasn’t revealed a production date for the new QX80, but it will likely arrive sometime next year as a 2019 model. Expect much of the QX80 Monograph’s design to transition to the new QX80.
Stay tuned for all the details about the QX80 Monograph and the rest of the New York Auto Show debuts, when the show kicks off next week. The QX80 Monograph will be revealed on April 11.
