Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, several auto shows have been canceled or delayed, which has us wondering when automakers will unveil the new additions to their lineups. As of late, Hyundai’s Genesis luxury brand unveiled the GV80 SUV and the new G80 sedan and even Hyundai recently unveiled the new 2021 Elantra. Are you wondering what’s next from Hyundai? Well a new leaked doc has revealed Hyundai’s 2020 production schedule.

According to the doc, posted on The Korean Car Blog, the first new model is the Hyundai Santa Fe, which is expected to get a refresh and also a hybrid powertrain option. The updated 2021 Santa Fe is slated to enter production in May.

The following month, in June, Hyundai will start production of the 2021 Elantra, which includes the Elantra Hybrid and the sportier Elantra N-Line. Hyundai originally announced that production of the 2021 Elantra would begin this fall, so we’l have to wait and see if production has in fact been moved up a few months. We’ve been waiting to hear when the next-generation Tucson is going to debut and it looks like we’ll get to see it in August. The new 2021 Tucson was likely previewed by the Vision T Concept that debuted last fall. The all-new Tucson is expected to share its platform with the new 2020 Sonata and will probably be powered by the same 191-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder. A high performance N version is also likely, in addition to turbocharged and hybrid verisons.

Lastly Genesis is expected to reveal the GV70 compact crossover in October.

While this leaked doc does provide some clues to what we can expect from Hyundai and Genesis this year, there’s also the possibility that COVID-19 could delay some of these plans.
