2020 Hyundai Palisade eight-passenger SUV will debut in LA

2020 Hyundai Palisade Teaser

Hyundai has finally confirmed the name for its new eight-passenger flagship SUV, which will be called the Palisade. The 2020 Hyundai Palisade gets its name from the Pacific Palisades in Southern California.

Hyundai says that the 2020 Palisade will not only offer room for up to eight passengers, but that its interior will feature “premium materials and commodious cargo space for growing modern families.”

For now Hyundai has only released a teaser of the Palisade’s rear with its name spread across the tailgate. Its styling will be differentiated from the current Santa Fe, Tucson and Kona crossovers.

When the 2020 Hyundai Palisade arrives in the summer of 2019 it will officially replace the Santa Fe XL. We’ll have all the details on November 28 when the 2020 Palisade debuts at the LA Auto Show.
