This month we get to see the debut of the 2019 BMW 8 Series Convertible, but if you’re waiting for the more powerful M8 versions, BMW has announced that the M8 will arrive in 2019.
BMW has also revealed that the M8 will have over 591 horsepower thanks to its twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The M8 will also send all that power to all four wheels, but if you prefer a rear-wheel drive setup, the M8 will offer a 2WD mode.
Besides the upgraded engine, the M8 will also feature an M-specific suspension. BMW’s engineers have also worked to minimize the M8’s weight thanks to the use of aluminum and carbon fiber.
The M8 Coupe will arrive first, which will then be followed by the M8 Convertible and M8 Gran Coupe. BMW has yet to announce when it will reveal the M8.
