For the 2019 model year, Hyundai has mixed things up a bit with the Santa Fe lineup. The previous Santa Fe Sport is done and replaced by the all-new 2019 Santa Fe, while the previous three-row Santa Fe carries over, but has been renamed the 2019 Santa Fe XL.
We’ve now learned the pricing for the 2019 Hyundai Santa FE XL, which starts at $31,830 with the destination fees included. The base Santa FE XL SE trim level comes standard with front-wheel drive, but you can add all-wheel drive for an additional $1,750.
While Hyundai has held the line on the pricing for the 2019 Santa FE XL, it’s still $5,350 more than the all-new 2019 Santa Fe. Besides the extra size, the Santa Fe XL is also powered by a 3.3L V6 with 290 horsepower, while the smaller Santa Fe is available with either a 185-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder or a 232 horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.
