Honda Gives the 2012 Insight a Refresh

Honda has unveiled the updates to the 2012 Honda Insight, which includes a refreshed exterior and interior and slightly better fuel efficiency.

The exterior of the Insight gets updates that includes: restyled front and rear bumpers, a new grille, new headlights and taillights and restyled wheels. The new bumpers and changes under the vehicle, contribute to a 2-percent increase in aerodynamic performance.

The Insight’s interior gets updated with a reconfigured rear seat area for better leg and head room, a redesigned gauge cluster background, new beverage holders that fit larger drinks and a more supportive front armrest.

The 2012 Insight is now a little more fuel efficient with a 41/44/42 mpg fuel economy rating, up from 40/43/41. It’s powered by a 1.3-liter 4-cyl engine that’s mated to a 10-kilowatt electric motor and a CVT.
