Genesis has unveiled the Genesis X Convertible concept, which is its third concept following the X and X Speedium Coupe. The four-passenger open-roof concept completes the X concept trilogy.

“Genesis started life by producing sedans mainly targeting business users. While creating a new, differentiated design DNA, we gradually increased the emotional appeal by applying this DNA to the SUV typology. Now, electric powertrains have given us the perfect scenario in which to enjoy nature, and propelled the brand to create vehicles with even greater emotional resonance,” said Chief Creative Officer, Luc Donckerwolke.

The X Convertible looks similar to the X and X Speedium Coupe concepts with its long, sleek styling and the trademark Genesis lights on the front and rear. The X Convertible concept features a folding hard top with a transparent moonroof that allows passengers to see the sky even with the top up.

Inside there’s room for four passengers with an interior that looks similar to the earlier concepts, but the interior design features Giwa Navy and Dancheong Orange colors.
