We’ve been waiting to see the successor to the Volvo XC90 and now we might have our first look thanks to new patent images that surfaced on the Worldscoop forums. Plus we might know its name too – EXC90.
Motor1 discovered a trademark application that was filed with the EU Intellectual Property Office on June 13 for the “EXC90” name, which was then followed by these images being discovered.
We’ll have to wait and see if these drawings are legit, but from what we can see here, the XC90 successor will feature design cues from the current XC90 and the Volvo Concept Recharge.
We shouldn’t have to wait too long to get the details since Volvo has already confirmed that “The fourth quarter of this year is when we will release more details about this product.”
