Porsche has already confirmed that it’s working on a large three-row electric SUV, but now we’re getting a bit more details about what we can expect from the brand’s upcoming flagship SUV.

Speaking to Autocar, CEO Oliver Blume described the SUV, known internally as K1, as a “very sporting interpretation of an SUV”. According to reports, the K1 will be different than any previous Porsche with its styling that will look “part saloon [sedan], part crossover.”

It’s expected that the K1 will be based on Porsche’s new Premium Platform Electric (PPE), which is also going to be used by the upcoming Macan EV. It will also reportedly feature 920-volt architecture, which means that it will be able to be charged up even faster. Four-wheel steering is also rumored. Porsche hasn’t provided any big details, but sources claim that it will arrive by 2027.
