Chevrolet is giving us our first official look at the upcoming Silverado EV, which is going to rival the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian R1T and Tesla Cybertruck electric trucks. We don’t know what it will look like yet, but on Wednesday, Chevy released a teaser of its massive 24-inch wheels and also announced that it will be available with four-wheel steering.

By adding rear-axle steering, the Silverado EV’s turning radius will be tighter, it will be more agile and improve its handling and stability at higher speeds. It looks like the Silverado EV won’t get the GMC Hummer EV’s more advanced Crab Walk feature.

The Silverado EV will be based on GM’s Ultium platform and will likely have a range up to 400 miles. Chevy also says that it will offer fleet and retail versions of the electric Silverado, just like the F-150 Lightning. We still don’t know when the Silverado EV is going to arrive.
