A few days ago Cadillac took the wraps off the 2020 Cadillac CT5, its replacement for the CTS sedan. Cadillac recently announced that we’d see a new model debut every six months through 2020 and now we know that the next model to debut will be the entry level CT4 sedan.

Cadillac President Steve Carlisle recently confirmed to Automotive News that the Cadillac CT4 will debut later this year, following the debut of the 2020 CT5 next month at the New York Auto Show. Given the timing, the CT4 will likely debut in November at the LA Auto Show.

When it arrives, the CT4 will replace the ATS sedan. Cadillac hasn’t revealed any information about the CT4, but it’s expected that it will be based on the same Alpha platform as the CT5. If that’s the case we can expect the CT4 to also be offered with the same engine lineup, which includes a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder and possibly even the 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 engine.

Stay tuned.
