The past few days there have been a lot of news about the GM and Ford’s future lineups. While GM may end up cutting a few models in the next few years, Ford has already killed the Fiesta in the United States. Now comes news that the Ford Taurus and Ford C-Max may also disappear in the near future.

According to sources that spoke to The Detroit News, the Ford Taurus and Ford C-Max could both be killed off by the end of 2018 or early 2019. Sales of large sedans have dropped off significantly over the last few years, which is causing many of them to slowly die off. Hyundai recently announced that the Hyundai Azera is done in the U.S. and there’s a possibility that sedans, like the Chevy Impala and Buick LaCrosse could also be on the chopping block.

Ford has yet to announce a decision about either the Taurus or the C-Max, but Ford recently stated that its plans for the C-Max and any potential replacement will be part of a future announcement.
