We’ve been eagerly awaiting the debut of the 2021 Acura TLX ever since we saw the Type S concept last summer. The 2021 TLX was supposed to have debuted by now, but thanks to the coronavirus those plans have been delayed. Well here’s something to hold us over – leaked patent images of the 2021 Acura TLX.
Thanks to Worldscoop we have a preview of the 2021 Acura TLX. The good news is that the 2021 TLX will retain the sleek styling of the Type S concept.
We don’t have any other big details to go with the leaked images, but we do know that the TLX Type S is expected to get a new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with more power than the current 290-hp 3.5-liter V6. The Type S version will also likely come standard with all-wheel drive. The standard TLX will likely get the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder as the RDX and Honda Accord.
We shouldn’t have to wait too much longer to get all the details, since the 2021 Acura TLX is expected to debut sometime this summer.
