Kia has announced some big plans for the New York Auto Show, which kicks off next week. Kia is using the show to debut three new vehicles for the US. From this single teaser, we can tell that the EV4 electric sedan will be one of them.
Kia isn’t saying much yet about the three new vehicles, other than stating “the three Kia debut vehicles span distinct model lines, encompass two fully electric powertrains, and one offers a sporty and versatile approach in the compact car segment.” That compact car is clearly the EV4 electric sedan. We’ve already seen the EV4, but we don’t know the specs yet, which might be revealed at the show.
What the other two models are is unclear, the only other clue we have is this statement “From sedan to SUV to something in between, the Kia lineup continues to grow.” Maybe one of the debuts is an update on the K4 hatchback that was revealed last year and maybe the third will be the EV3 small electric SUV.
