This week Toyota officially confirmed that the 2024 Tacoma will debut next month on May 19. Toyota has released several teasers of the new Tacoma, but now we have our first official look at it thanks to a leaked photo.
This photo was posted on the Tacoma4G forum and was reportedly somehow found on Toyota’s website. From what we can see here, the Tacoma borrows a lot of its styling cues from the Tundra, which we expected, since both trucks will be based on the same platform.
We still don’t have a lot of info about the new Tacoma, but it’s expected to switch to a four-cylinder engine lineup, which will also include a hybrid version. The good news is that the Tacoma will also be available with a six-speed manual transmission. Stay tuned.
