Lincoln has unveiled the 2024 Nautilus SUV, which gets a sleek exterior and a massive 48-inch screen that spans the width of the dashboard. The all-new Nautilus also gets a hybrid powertrain, while a V6 engine is no longer offered.
On the outside the new Nautilus gets a more sculpted exterior that makes it looks more luxurious than before. The door handles are also hidden in the window trim, like the Continental sedan.
Inside is probably what everyone is going to talk about. There are two 24-inch screens that combine to create a 48-inch screen. The large screen is controlled by an 11.1-inch touchscreen below. The driver can customize the large display by dragging and dropping different widgets on the touchscreen. The 48-inch screen flows into a trim on doors that’s backlit by LEDS that can also change colors.
Lincoln has also introduced a new feature called “Lincoln Rejunvenate” that creates a relaxing atmosphere by adjusting the interior lighting, audio system, screen and massaging seats. There’s also an optional diffuser that can release one of three fragrances in the cabin. 24-way power adjustable seats and a 28-speaker Revel audio system are also offered.
Under the hood there are two powertrains to choose from. The standard engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 250 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. The second powertrain is a hybrid system that mates a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with a 100 kW electric motor and a continuously variable automatic transmission.
The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus will arrive in early 2024.
