Although the Hyundai Sonata got a major refresh for the 2024 model year, its cousin, the Kia K5 carries over into the new model year without any big changes. Kia has announced that the only big update for the 2024 Kia K5 is that the GT-Line FWD trim gets standard heated front seats.
The 2024 Kia K5 is available in four trim levels: LXS, EX, GT-Line and GT. The pricing for the base K5 LXS starts at $26,515, including destination. The LXS, EX and GT-Line models are powered by a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 180 horsepower and 195 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The GT-Line is also available with all-wheel drive.
The K5 GT is powered by a 2.5-liter turbo with 290 hp and 311 lb-ft., that’s mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
