Hyundai has unveiled the updated 2024 Sonata, which gets a bold facelift that aims to grab your attention in a slowing segment. The facelift is pretty extensive, so it would be easy to think that the Sonata has received an entire redo.

At the front there’s a horizontal light that spans the entire width of the Sonata’s facelift, which is similar to the 2024 Kona. The face also gets hidden headlamps, an a new wider grille and air intakes. According to Hyundai, “The Seamless Horizon Lamp and wide-set, hidden headlamps create a dramatic lighting effect, emphasizing the vehicle’s wide stance while adding a futuristic touch.”

At the rear there are new H-lights (taillights) further emphasize SONATA’s high-tech image and wide stance. The rear also gets a spoiler-shaped trunk lid and muffler-shaped rear garnish. The N Line version tops things off with a rear spoiler and dual twin-tip mufflers and unique 19-inch wheels.

2024 Hyundai Sonata

Inside the 2024 Sonata gets a new panoramic curved display that combines both 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and the 12.3-inch infotainment system. The climate control system has also been updated with new touch-type controls. The buttons for the transmission have been replaced by a column-type shift-by-wire controller behind the steering wheel.
