Hyundai has surprised us with the unveiling of the 2024 Kona, which arrives with bolder styling and several different flavors to make it appeal to any buyer that’s looking for a small crossover.
On the outside we can see that the 2024 Kona keeps some of the same design details from the current generation, but it also borrows some styling cues from the Seven concept aka the Ioniq 7. Specifically the full width front lighting and full width taillights are similar to the Seven concept.
The 2024 Kona has grown a bit as well, since it’s six inches wider and one inch wider. Its wheelbase has also been stretched two inches. Compared to the current generation, Hyundai says that the 2024 Kona was designed as an electric car first and then modified to fit internal-combustion engines. This also means that in addition to the fully electric version, a hybrid version has also been added. That means that the 2024 Kona will be available in four versions: a gas powered version, hybrid, electric and the N Line.
Inside there are a pair of 12.3-inch screens.
Hyundai hasn’t announced any specs for the 2024 Kona or when it will arrive in the U.S.
