Porsche has unveiled the next version of the 911 with the return of the all-wheel drive 4S trim level for the 911 Carrera coupe, cabriolet and Targa models.

The 2026 911 4S models will be powered by the same 473 horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat six as the Carrera S, which is mated to the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, also known as the PDK. Porsche says that the 922 4S coupe can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds using launch control and has a top track speed of 191 mph.
As with every other model equipped with Porsche Traction Management (PTM), the torque split is rear-biased by default and it only directs more torque to the front axle if needed. The front differential is water cooled and uses an electromechanically controlled clutch.
Other upgrades include the sport exhaust system with silver tailpipes, brakes borrowed from the previous generation 911 Carrera GTS models, and uprated dampers
