Last week GMC unveiled the 2024 Sierra EV electric truck, which is closely related to the Chevy Silverado EV.
When Chevy unveiled the Silverado EV it said that it would have up to 664 horsepower and 780 pound-feet, but now those specs have been increased to match the Sierra EV. The 2024 Chevy Silverado EV now has up to 754 horsepower with more than 785 lb-ft of torque. It has an estimated 0-60 mph time of less than 4.5 seconds. The driving range has stayed the same at up to 400 miles.
The Silverado EV will arrive in spring 2023 with the will debut a WT model, which starts at $39,000. In fall 2023, the fully loaded RST First Edition model will debut with an MSRP of $105,000, plus destination. After production ramps up, Chevrolet will introduce the full Silverado EV lineup, including the WT, RST, Trail Boss and additional trims. These new trims will bring the price of the Silverado EV down across various price ranges, with MSRPs starting around $50,000, $60,000, $70,000, $80,000.
