Mitsubishi has announced the pricing for the 2023 Outlander PHEV, which starts at $41,190, including destination. The Outlander plug-in hybrid is slated to arrive in November.
The Outlander PHEV has a 38 mile electric range, which is a 40 percent improve over the previous generation. Using a DC fast charger, the Outlander PHEV can be charged up to 80 percent in 28 minutes. It’s worth noting, that the Outlander PHEV is the only model in its class that offers fast charging. Plus there are three rows of seats, which helps the Outlander stand out from the Toyota RAV4 Prime and Ford Escape PHEV.
Under the hood there’s a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that’s mated to an electric motor, while a second electric motor powers the rear wheels. The powertrain has a combined 248 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque.
