Under the hood buyers can choose from either a 6.6-liter V8 and or 6.6-liter Duramax turbodiesel V8. The Duramax now has more power at 470 horsepower and 975 lb-ft. of torque, compared to 445 hp and 910 lb-ft. The gasoline-powered V8’s power figures stay the same at 401 hp and 464 lb-ft. The big change for the V8 is that it’s now mated to the same 10-speed automatic transmission as the turbodiesel.
