Jaguar has unveiled a very limited version of the 2023 F-Pace SUV, called the F-Pace SVR Edition 1988. It pays tribute to the number of laps completed by the winning XJR-9 LM at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988.

The F-Pace SVR Edition 1988 was created by Jaguar’s SV Bespoke team. It’s painted in Midnight Amethyst Gloss and rides on Champagne Gold Satin 22-inch forged alloy wheels. It also gets Sunset Gold Satin exterior and interior detailing, plus a ‘One of 394’ SV Bespoke commissioning graphic. A Gloss Black finish has been added to the door mirror caps, brake calipers, wheel center caps and the letter R on the SVR badging.
“The design of the F-Pace SVR Edition 1988 is inspired by legendary Jaguar endurance racing cars,” Richard Woolley, Special Vehicle Operations Creative Director, Jaguar. “The Midnight Amethyst Gloss paintwork appears black until its amethyst undertones are revealed in bright sunshine, emphasizing the SVR’s dynamic exterior. To achieve this dramatic Ultra Metallic Gloss finish, we assessed more than 40 variations to create the desired depth of color.”
Inside it gets open-pore carbon fiber finishers, semi-aniline Ebony leather seats and Sunset Gold Satin detailing across the dashboard, steering wheel spokes, gear shift paddles and the front seats.

It’s powered by the 550 horsepower 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine and it can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.8 seconds. The F-Pace SVR Edition 1988 can reach a top speed of 178 mph. Jaguar only plans to build 394 units and the pricing starts at $111,150.
