While Toyota has been expanding its EV lineup with the RAV4 Prime and the upcoming bZ4X, Toyota also still offers the Prius Prime. Toyota has announced the pricing for the 2022 Prius Prime, which starts at $29,245, including destination.
The Prius Prime carries over unchanged from last year and we’re expecting a new Prius soon. Maybe as soon as the end of 2022, according to a recent report. For now the Prius Prime has a 25 mile EV range, while with the gas engine it can travel a total of 640 miles.
Charging the Prius Prime takes just over 2 hours with a level 2 charger or five and a half hours with a standard 120-volt outlet.
The Prius Prime is available in three trim levels: LE, XLE, and Limited. The top Limited version starts at $35,025.
