Toyota has announced the updates to the 2022 Camry. Last year the Camry received a small facelift, so for the new model year the midsize sedan some smaller updates.
The big news is the addition of the sportier SE Hybrid Nightshade Edition which adds 18-inch black wheels, black shark fin antenna, window trim, badging, door handles and mirror caps. That means that the Camry Hybrid is now available in five trim levels: LE, XLE, SE, SE Nightshade and XSE.
The 2022 Toyota Camry also now comes standard with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+ system, which includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, Road Sign Assist. The Camry also now comes standard with a Rear Seat Reminder, dual-zone climate control (TRD gets a tri-zone system), and a floating multimedia screen in 7-inch or 9-inch sizes. Lastly the LE and SE trims get heated side mirrors. The Camry TRD is also now available in Calvary Blue with a black roof.
