Mini recently unveiled the updated 2022 Hardtop and Convertible models with their small facelift and now we have our first look at the updated electric Cooper SE.

At the front there’s a new splitter and a dark grille surround. The updates to the rear are smaller. One cool new option is the Multitone Roof, which is a unique paint fade option for the roof.

Mini has also unveiled a new special edition of the Cooper SE called the Electric Collection, which adds matrix LED headlights, unique 17-inch wheels, black mirror caps, a leather wrapped steering wheel and unique door sills.

Inside there’s a new steering wheel and 8.8-inch instrument cluster, just like the 2022 Hardtop. A heated steering wheel and new driver-assist features have also been added.

We wish there were some updates to its powertrain, since the Cooper SE only has a driving range of 110 miles. Mini did recently confirm that an electric John Cooper Works model is coming for buyers that want more performance.
