The current Mini Cooper Hardtop and Convertible arrived in 2014 and although Mini has given them some small updates over the years, we can’t ignore that both are getting a bit up there in age. Well now Mini has given them both another small refresh for the 2022 model year.

The biggest change you’ll find is the new grille that features a thick black grille surround that goes all the way down to the base of the bumper. Would we say its a clean look? Probably not. The grille surround looks like an add on.

You’ll also notice that the fog lights have been deleted from the bumper, while the rear also gets a new bumper. Other updates include new side scuttle designs and wheel arch trims, and new 17- and 18-inch wheels.

Inside the analog speedometer has been replaced by a digital cluster and the center air vents have been integrated into the dash panel.

Under the hood there aren’t any changes.
