Hyundai has unveiled a sportier version of the new 2022 Tucson, called the Tucson N Line. As its name suggests, the N Line version gets some sporty styling additions, but no extra power, which might be reserved for a possible Tucson N.
At the front the 2022 Hyundai Tucson N Line has a revised grille that’s taller and wider than the standard version. The parametric jewels on the grille are also are displayed “elaborated with edges, creating additional reflections depending on the angle.” The Tucson N Line also gets a slightly different front bumper with air intakes that are taller and bigger. Bright silver skid plates have also been added and black bezels from the headlights.
Along the side the Tucson N Line gets a body color side molding, gloss black trim and 19-inch wheels. The rear gets a longer spoiler, more aggressive exhaust tips and a new rear bumper.
Inside the seats are wrapped in leather and suede with red contrast stitching. In Europe the 2022 Tucson N Line will be available with the 1.6-liter four-cylinder diesel, mild-hybrid, plug-in hybrid and hybrid powertrains. While the powertrains don’t get any more oomph, the suspension has been re-tuned to make it more fun to drive.
The Tucson N Line is scheduled to go on sale in the spring, but Hyundai hasn’t announced when it will come to the United States.
