Porsche has unveiled the 2021 Porsche 718 Boxster 25, which celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Boxster. The special edition Boxster 25 is based on the 2021 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 and borrows some styling cues from the Boxster concept car that debuted at the 1993 Detroit Auto Show.

The Porsche Boxster 25 features copper trim on the front and side air intakes, 20-inch wheels and badging, like the original concept. The fuel cap is finished in aluminum and features a “Porsche” script, while the rear is topped off with the standard sport exhaust system. Buyers will be able to choose from three colors: GT Silver, Jet Black, and Carrera White.

Inside it features a Bordeaux Red leather interior with a red fabric top, with embossed Boxster 25 lettering. The limited edition Boxster 25 also comes with the Sport Chrono package that adds launch control and a steering-wheel-mounted drive mode selector.

The Boxster 25 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six that generates 394 horsepower and 309 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual transmission is standard, while a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is optional. It also gets adaptive dampers and a limited-slip differential.

The pricing for the 2021 Boxster 25 starts at $99,950 and will arrive this spring. Porsche only plans to build 1,250 units, so act fast.
