Ford has unveiled the 2021 Ford Explorer King Ranch edition, which marks the first time that the King Ranch edition is being offered on the Explorer.

Ford says that the Explorer King Ranch will appeal to buyers that have asked for a “more refined” interior in the Explorer. It features Mesa Del Rio leather seats and the center console is also wrapped in the special leather.

The interior also gets leather door trim rollovers, a leather-wrapped instrument panel combined with Sapele wood appliqués, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with Norias stitching and a Sapele wood insert.

The Explorer King Ranch is available with the Premium Technology Package that adds. massaging seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen and a 14-speaker B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen.

On the outside it features a Stone Grey mesh grille, 20-inch wheels, a liftgate scuff plate, quad chrome exhaust tips and signature King Ranch badging.

On the safety front, the Explorer King Ranch comes standard with the Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ safety suite, which includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering, Evasive Steering Assist, and a voice-activated touch screen navigation system with pinch-to-zoom capability.

The Explorer King Ranch is powered by a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine with 365 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque thats mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can choose either rear- or four-wheel drive.

The 2021 Ford Explorer King Ranch edition starts at $52,350 with rear-wheel-drive and $54,350 with four-wheel drive. It will arrive this spring.
